Office Manager
Barbara was born and bred on the Gold Coast and worked in general practice, radiology and audiology both here and in Brisbane for 10 years before starting with Dr Dorrington in March 1988.
Over this time
she has worked in all areas of the practice, now mainly in administration and
is responsible for the overall functioning and management of the practice.
She has seen him through births, deaths and marriages during her employment and much more.
MARGARET
Receptionist
Margaret is a mother of 2 who grew up in Sydney and moved to Queensland in 1982.
She worked for 13 years as a receptionist in a large medical practice in Brisbane with both general practitioners and visiting specialists. In 1996 she moved to the Gold Coast and was employed on a casual basis as a medical receptionist for various specialists over the next 4 years.
Margaret commenced work for Dr Lloyd Dorrington at the end of 2000 as a medical receptionist. Her duties include patient bookings and enquiries and hospital and anaesthetic bookings. She will be pleased to help you with any questions.
